Dr. Nazım Yıldız graduated from Galatasaray High School and subsequently graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine with a high honor degree (3.70/4.00). Between 2014-2018, he completed his specialty training in the psychiatry clinic of the same faculty. During this period, he worked as a visiting physician at the Universitatsklinikum Eppendorf, Angst- und Zwangsstörungen (Anxiety Disorders and OCD) clinic in Hamburg for 3 months in 2016.

He performed his compulsory service after his specialization training. In addition to his specialty training and therapy trainings, he continues his advanced neurological sciences (neuroscience) doctorate education, which he started in 2016, at Istanbul University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Experimental Medicine. He is working on the mechanisms of Alzheimer's dementia, schizophrenia and neuropsychiatric diseases.

He specializes in the medication and psychotherapy of anxiety disorders and phobias, mood disorders/bipolar disorder and depression, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, loss and grief, psychosomatic disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders. He uses cognitive behavioral psychotherapy, psychodynamically oriented supportive psychotherapy, interpersonal relations psychotherapy and existential psychotherapy in the clinic.
